Yesterday~ was my last day of uni for the semester, wai =D Still got one more assignment to hand in next Wednesday, and other assignments to pick up from being marked, but the tutes/workshops/etc part of the semester is done and dusted =DD
Debbie, my boss, wasn't at work today, so I was all on my own~ for the whole day =0 Helen rocked up a couple of times, but she's not higher-up-on-the-food-chain so much as friend-of-the-family-who-got-me-the-job. So yeah, that was fun. Had the whole afternoon on floor 29 <3 They have the best view, srsly. Well, 30 does really, but I've only been up there the once, and I couldn't actually see squat cos I was just doing thesecretaries PAs, who don't get a view. How much would that suck? Being on the top floor of Adelaide and not getting a view? 29 tho, view everywhere~ <3
And Adelaide was looking really pretty today, too. Bright blue sky so the sea was bright blue as well, parklands and Squares all green because it's winter so water restrictions don't affect the lawns... I love my city X3
Also! Exciting stuff is happening! =0
Tomorrow is my cousin's 18th down at Goolwa, then Saturday~ is a 21st for someone I've only met twice, but K8's going, so that'll be fun, Sunday may or may not be another party, depending on how I'm feeling with this ethnography due on Wednesday, Wednesday~ is a cool jazz night thingie with K8 and two guys she knows from uni. Part of the Cabaret Festival (emphasising yet again that we're the Festival State, as if there was ever any doubt X3)
And omg I can download stuff again <3 See, I kinda killed the bandwidth earlier this month by downloading about 7 Doctor Who episodes in two days >> So we've been rationing it for the past two and a half weeks to get it back in the green again, cos of course if it goes over the limit for the month, we get dialup speed until the month rolls over (on the 11th). So~ yeah. We're back in the green now, so I can download stuff again =DD I haven't complained about the rationing really, because I so brought it on myself XD;;;
And! And and and~~ we take off for the Maldives in less than a month, omg. I can't wait <3 <3 <3 I could see the airport for most of the day from where I was, and ever plane that I saw take off made me squee X3
