My Gawd that was brilliant.
Dun really know what to say. Loved that so much~~ and want to see it again. Now X)
You know how each movie's kinda focussed on a group of the Fellowship? The first was Frodo, Sam and Gandalf's movie, second was for Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas. This one was so~ for Merry and Pippin. Pippin in particular. My Gawd~ Billy Boyd deserves some award for that. Think even Gandalf warmed up to him more by the end X3
Wanted to hug various characters at points in the film, namely Sam and Faramir. Poor bois TT Faramir's dad was just a bastard.
"Would you rather that I'd carked it instead of Borimir?"
"Hell yus XP~ Now go sacrafice yourself to those blokes who took Osgiliath =D"
"And then you'll be happy?"
"Hell no XP~ Just go die already ¬¬"
And poor Sam~ TT_TT Really wanted to hug him when Frodo told him to bugger off. He knew~ how much of a little bastid Gollum was, but he just... *hugs him* Poor Sam~~ TT_TT
There was a little boy sitting behind us who went "woah!" whenever you got a shot of something big and uber!cool, like the orc army or Minas Tirith. Didn't do it too often, so it was kinda coot ^^
I'm not a fangirl for Legolas, but I really loved his expression when he jumped off the Oliphaunt (sp?). Just like, "ha~ gotcha >)". Whole cinema laughed at Gimli's line after that XDD Still lub Gimli. Pity you never get to find out their final scores for their killing competition, that'd be amusing XD
Something else I was going to mention too... Meh, whatever. Whole damn thing ruled. It was all so well done, so much detail and stuff in the cities and all the battles.
Oh yeah, that's it. Felt tears welling up during it, of course, but not where I expected them to. Was when the whole of Minas Tirith bowed to the hobbits, that was just so gorgeous. Screw it if they're shorter than the humans and elves, they were the tallest there *^^*
Alrighty, I'm done. Want to see it again~
