HAH I'm not the only one who uses Maya to cheat get the perspective right.

...I have so much more exciting stuff to update on than that. I just never feel like actually typing it all out once it's done XD;

o Welcomed cousin back to Australia from the UK! She's only here for Christmas til she goes back again for New Year, aww. Big Christmas-esque lunch with her and family, followed by the most epic game of backyard cricket we've had in YEARS. Mostly we just sorta halfarse it out of tradition. No idea what made it go for an hour this time XD

o You're not the only ones who can do snow in December, bitches. DIDN'T I TELL YOU IT WAS COLD? I THINK I DID.

o Graduation was boring as all hell, I was number 29 of about 300 who walked across the stage of the Convention Centre to accept my degree. It took two hours o/ But then we went out to lunch after, which was lovely~ and tasty~ but not as good as Alphutte, where we WANTED to go but they were full.

o It's supposed to be 34 on Christmas Day. I'm dubious.

o Official move-out date is now officially 15-16 January. It was going to be this weekend, but then engagements cropped up to postpone it. Either way, Anna P's current housemate is moving out first week of January, so I'll move in the second weekend :D

o Work Christmas dinner was last weekend! Man that was fun. Jan got us balloons and we had a balloon animal/hat competition. It was unanimously decided that my 'lion' looked more like a poodle with haemorrhoids.

o We actually won a cricket match! Like, a real one, not backyard cricket! I wish we could've had that match here. Day three of the Perth Test was so much more epic than the day three at Adelaide that we went to =(

I had my last ever day at uni on Friday =0 That was weird. Walking around the Sturt campus particularly and knowing I'd never be walking those corridors again. I'll be going back to the main campus/Humanities building tomorrow to hand in my last assignments, but that's it. No more contact hours. SO WEIRD. AND ALSO AWESOME. More awesome than weird. I've been at uni for six and a half years~ xX Even med students get out before then. But yeah. I'm good as finished~ yay!

Yeah~ I'm set for my final semester of uni omg. Enrolled and registered for (all two of) my topics, new sticker on the student card, which has been shown to banks so they don't charge me, got a diary and a parking permit for the semester, got a laptop bag in green, picked up assignments from last semester (namely the Maya book that had all the little tips and stuff I picked up doing Squishy) and~ yes. Yay and stuff. Only thing I didn't get was a wall planner because they don't come in til O-week.

OH AND. ANNA P AND I ARE GOING TO THE FOOTY THIS YEAR. EEE. Just got a letter from the Crows on Friday to say that we've gotten to the top of the waitlist and are eligible for seasons tickets :DDDDD I just gave them a ring about the concession prices, since I'm only going to be a student until July, and they said it's fine to get the concession, just for the last month or so I'll have to pay extra at the gate. "And yaknow, they might not look closely at your student card anyway," says the Crows person. Snrk.

YAY FOOTY.

Squishy, my web portfolio for 3D Effects. Well, I say 'web', not actually made to go online cos OMFGIMAGES. Also, two images on the car's page are broken because every time I try doing any 2D or 3D painting, Maya breaks. I plan on doing the terrain for that one tomorrow during the lesson. Other than that, tho, 3D Effects is FINISHED!

IT'S FINISHED. OH MY GOD IT'S ACTUALLY FINISHED. SOUNDTRACK AND EVERYTHING. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

I can render~ o/ Not straight to a movie, rather render out the 775 frames s png images then stitch them all back together with Quicktime. The rendering will take roughly~ six and a half hours, so I'll be away from the computer until, what, 9:30pm? Something like that. Use that time and the frankly STUNNING weather to go outside and do my readings, then that'll be three more things I can cross off the list :D

(Roundabout) successssssssss.

Time to go home and get the little dudes finished and rendering :D

THERE. As finished as I can get it apart from Purple Blob not turning around and subsequently hugging Green Blob. Get help from Theodor tomorrow and booyah, major project for 3D Effects will be done.

I'm going to watch FMA now. I feel I've earned it, after being on Maya non-stop since I got home at 4.

Funny story guys!

On Tuesdays this semester I take the bus to uni, which takes roughly an hour and a half each way. Did this this morning, leaving at 10:30am for a midday lecture. The connecting bus in the city was 10 minutes late so I ended up at uni 12:05 instead of 11:55 as scheduled, going DDD: because Tuesdays are one of two shining light days for the semester and I don't like turning up late for them =(

Get to the door of the workshop room to see a sign stuck to the door saying "Sorry guys, KC is sick, workshop and lecture cancelled."

HOW HILARIOUS IS THAT? OMG I NO RITE.

So. Went to Marion for lunch purely so my three hours of bus and also the bus tickets didn't feel like a complete waste, then another hour and a half on the bus back home. Which was actually closer to two because the bus from Marion to the city was basically a 50-minute tour of suburbia before it reached the city. The only major road I saw was Anzac Highway, which the bus crossed over but didn't actually travel on.

FOUR AND A HALF HOURS. ISN'T THAT BRILLIANT? MOST WASTED DAY EVER.
