Anyhoo, formal~ ^^ 'Twas fun, and I looked spiffy and purdy **^^** Met with Kate, Ryan and Gabe in the playground where our parentals proceeded to blind us with red-eye reductions Xx
( observe... )And so ends the before photos. Dun have any at the formal as yet, they're on my camera which actually has film and hasn't been processed. Must take 4 more photos then I can. Get my Rumba photos back with it too =DD
So yes, took off down the freeway in our Hotrod, and going through the tunnel our chauffeur (hope I spelt that right ^^;) revved the engine and told us we weren't the ones to have all the fun, to which Kate responded, "Since when is that not fun?" X) Cruised around Adelaide for another half hour or so until about 20 to 8, at which point we rocked up at Town Hall, followed by many oohs and aahs from gathered parentals and a few teachers ^^
Long story short, much fun had by all ^^ The amazing dress for which the top cost two and a half grand was pretty bloody boring. Bright pink strapless bodice, nothing special about it, no diamonds or folds or anything, and a black skirt with fuzzy fishnet stuff at the bottom. Either she was having us on with the cost of the thing or she was seriously jipped.
Music was, as expected, not particularly wonderful. We each requested one song earlier in the year, and judging from the stuff that gets played in the common room I knew it wouldn't be the best part of the evening. All R&B crappy stuff that you can't dance to (not that I would've anyway, but you get the idea)
Whole place looked damn pritti tho. Had the organ lit up with coloured lights and the whole thing just looked gorgeous *^^*
Dinner itself was chicken with a tomato-y sauce. 'Twas verra nice X3 and~ for dessert had choccy cake X9~
After party was, well, less than exciting. It was bloody freezing and we were all tired.
Nat: Kate, how can you be cold? You're from Woopwoop!
Kate: We're all from Woopwoop, it's still bloody cold!
*nods* I have finally discovered a use for vegitarian pizzas--leave the box (naturally full of pizza) on your lap and keep warm =D Ended up leaving at 2:30 and went home early. Muha.
Yesterday had a cricket match on 4 hours sleep. Couldn't be stuffed taking my hair out so went with it still all pritti XD;; Naturally didn't do well. W00t. Came home, slept, French movie at 4:30, home, dinner, bed at 9:30, not up today until 10:30 X3
So there you go, I had mucho fun~ XD
