Whee~ Muckup day was fun *^^*
Rocked up at school at 8:00, realised I forgot my camera, rang Dad to get it for me then proceeded to grab some random water pistol from the ground and squirt people with it X) Specifically the year 7s, who were piss-annoying year 6s last year *hisspit* and haven't improved in the slightest, and the year 11s cos they're also piss-annoying, only in a different way.
School was decorated supposedly in the theme of 'renovation rescue', but had a distinct roadworks feel about it--we had witches' hats everywhere, as well as that bright orange fency stuff they use to fence stuff off with, some 'pedestrians, watch your step' signs, 'roadwork ahead' signs, 'keep left' signs and various others. They were of course all genuine, nicked from various sign posts around Adelaide. Cos we're bad~
No flour and water or eggs, cos we were told we had to clean up everything we did before our assembly. Some idiot put dog food on the doorstep of the year 11 centre tho, made poor Jules clean it up. Bet it was bloody Nicolette ¬¬
A~nyway, got my camera just~ before the assembly started, hence no photos of our road signs, so I'll have to nick some off of Kate.
Right, assembly... gave my camera to someone in the front row so she got 29 photos for me *^^* Will get the remaining 7 tonight at the graduation ceremony so I can process the film (ooh, film Oo) tomorrow.
So! Started off with good old Mrs Head-of-Senior-School getting the school to stand on one leg for us X3 So~ we hurtled down the stairs (cos we've got tiered seating in the hall, you see) and did our first dance, which looked distinctly unrehearsed. Heather, the vice capitain, then read the reading. From Harry Potter, chapter 3, verses whatever to thingy. Was quite amused despite myself. Just the way she read it XD (Note to Uko and Silver: Don't get any ideas ¬¬ I'm watching you~)
Next we had a report from two girls who went on some excursion they made up. Naturally had hella inside jokes nobody would get if they didn't go to my school, so I won't bore you with them.
And then~ the Golden Gnome Awards XDD Oh Gawd~ that was brilliant. Had various tasks that people completed on camera, such as:
o ringing the school bell =0
o stealing books from the library =0
o going down the wheelchair ramp on the chairs from Benham computer room =0
o dancing with the blow-up penguin in Mr Head-of-Studies's office XDD
o going into Mrs Head-of-Senior-School's office, spinning around on the chair and rearranging the iccle ducks =0
o going into the headmistress's office to boogie on down and spin around on
her chair XDDD
o busking in front of the tuck shop line XDDDD
o parking the car outside the Physics lab, then lend the keys to Miss Physics o.o
o propose to Mr Chem XDDDDDDDDDDD
o nick the skeleton from the Biology lab, wheel it to the staff room and get it a cup of coffee (there were people in both the Bio lab and the staff room at the time, including Miss Biology XDDDDDDD)
o replacing one of the paintings of former headmistresses with the picci of Albert Einstein from the Physics lab XDDDDDDDD
o performing CPR on the model of the human body in the Bio lab, with another class on in there (you know, those plastic models with the heart and liver and whatever else in there?)
And then, la créme de la créme, the boarders broke out of the boarding house in the middle of the night and ran up and down the street in their PJs. They won the Golden Gnome XDDDD
After that~ we had our "introduce everyone according to which year they came in" thing. I came in year 5. Yay me?
Then the formal video (I wasn't in it *pissy*), 'nother dance (which was also distinctly unrehearsed)... ooh yeah, that dance XD Earlier in the year we had a performance from the aerobics people, and to start off, one of them claps twice, they get into their positions then the music starts and they do their stuff. Only this time, the music didn't start for a good five minutes, so they were standing around in their positions for ages XDDD We had~ to make fun of that, so we stuck that in the middle. Also, they always seem to do a few pushups, so we did half of one, cos there's no way in hell you'll catch our year level doing more than that XD;
Next~ I think was when the boarders did their thing. Remake of Picnic at Hanging Rock with heaps of stereotyping of the boarders, cos you see most of them are from the country save one from Cairns, two from Germany and one from Hong Kong and maybe a few others, but yeah. That was quite funny ^^ All the boarders in the audience gave them a standing ovation at the end. Aww~
After that was our slow cry-cos-we'll-never-see-anyone-again~ song, only I'm not a very cry-y kind of person, so I didn't. Mrs Head-of-Senior-School got everyone to give us a standing ovation (cos we rule, damnit), then they all buggered off so we could be congratulated. Not just on the assembly (which was pretty damn good considering we weren't allowed to mock anyone directly, or say anything about the teachers), but for the whole year, so that was nice ^^
Handed over my IP backup, Art backup and French English response, then buggered off home at 10:45 to finish off my Art essay (layoutage! Huzzah!)
Graduation ceremony tonight. Gee, that'll be fun. Or not. Hoi~

List of Doom~~ v2? It's got half a thing left on the school part of it. Am finishing that tomorrow, cos it's IP and uses InDesign, which is a program I dun have at home. I have done~ everything else! French, Maths, Art and English are completely crossed off! XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
