It's still Thursday! It's still Thursday!

*glomps* happy birthday lubbie~! =D I envy your car stereo, I do o.o

In other news~ just got back from work. My feet are less than happy, given that they've walked about 8km in thongs in the Hills and have just been standing up for three hours straight stacking stuff in Bi-Lo. Weekend is going to kill them cos of Schoolie's. Kate's coming around 2 to pick me up, then we can celebrate properly, cos we kinda haven't as yet.

Year 12 Art Show was good. Had some random mother unit coming up to me to say how amazing my continent bird girl things were, so that was quite fun *^^* And... erm.. yeah, 'sabout it.

...I'm thirsty.

Today has been a rea~~lly frustrating day, but I'm not frustrated. Something is not right here. It's vera easy to make me frustrated, but I'm happy~ =D I blame it on you

Did driving test, failed in the first five minutes. See, there was a parked car on the side of the road, and the only way I could pass it was to go over the white line in the middle of the road. Now, this is absolutely fine if there is no conceivable way you could get past. However, you're supposed to indicate. Never, throughout the 18 years, 3 months and 3 days of my life, have I seen anyone indicate when they went over the white line to pass a parked car. I didn't even know~ about that rule! I knew you weren't supposed to straddle the lane line on multilaned roads for more than two parked cars, but that? alksdjlhdsag grr~ Dad then proceeded to get pissy with the instructor. Think he may have overlooked that if there wasn't the damn government dude in the back seat XP Damn Transport SA people turning up at random XP

A~nyway, got home after wasting $60 + petrol, 'wrapped' Silber-lub's prezzie and wandered down to the post office to send it. Figured that since Uko's was about $3, I think, that Silber-lub's shouldn't be much more than $5 or $6, since it had the Timtams in there as well as cd and drawings, so I took down $10 just to be safe.

$13.85, it cost me. FOURTEEN DOLLARS to send a burnt cd and a packet of Timtams to Canada Xx

Timtams: I'd say $4 max, most likely less tho
CD + case: $1 (50c for the blank cd, 50c for case)
Glossy paper~~: $1
Paper, ink, lead from pencil: not worth mentioning. 5c if you're lucky.
Grand total: $6, meaning the damn post cost twice as much as the contents Xx I hope you're happy, Australia Post ¬¬#

So yeah, had to walk all~ the way back home to get another $3, the all~ the way back to the post office to give Australia Post the afformentioned $3, then all~ the way back home again. I'll tell you now, thongs are not appropriate footware for walking around the Hills.

So yus, despite all that, I'm quite relaxed, 'cept my pore thong-tortured feet. But they're relaxing too ^^ Schoolie's starts tomorrow~! XD Rang up Kate while I was in [insert village name here], and she's fine for taking me down to Victor. Shall discuss times and stuff tonight at the Year 12 Art Show. Should be interesting. Wonder if the SSABSA dudes will've put our marks on them or not. That would be interesting to know.

Brother uint wil be asking about making a resumé soon. Fun~

Okay, if I plan on having Raqif's story done by December 1st, that means there are 11 days to write it. However, Friday thru Wednesday is Schoolies, 'cept Monday cos I'm most likely working Monday night, hence I'll hafta come home for thatand Wednesday cos I'll be back home by then anyway. So, 11-4=7 days. A week to finish the story.

I've done 4126 words so far, minimum length is 10k, so that's 5874 to go that way, or 850-ish words per day. Maximum length is 20k, which is prolly more what I'm heading for, meaning 15874 words to go, or 2300-ish per day.

So basically I'm shooting for between 1000 and 2500 words per day between now and December 1st. Obviously targeting the 2500. Judging by my imaginative writing piece for English, which was 1k in an hour, I guess that'd mean two and a half hours of writing per day.

Easy as X)
