Hi~~ again =D Been reading the friends page for the past hour and have decided that since it's 5:30 I should prolly be leaving pretty soon to get the bus to work, hence will post rather than read, so you know I'm here =D Or something.
Schoolies~ was fun up until last night, but I'll get to that. Basically, days consisted of sleeping in til 1:30 or so, bumming around the house then catching the 6:30 bus to the place where Kate was staying, bumming around there playing pool and listening to music, then cathing another bus into Victor at 8:30, when stuff started happening. Victor's pretty empty before then, so yeah, dodn't do anything there.
Afformentioned stuff is essentially the big white tent that's got DJs and (really bad) bands. We avoided the bands. They were crap. Also~ got these bright orange wrist band things (they're the new fashion people, everyone was wearing them) that gets you free bus rides, entry to the tent, and free food. Mmm~ donuts~ and hot chocolate~ and chocolate pancakes~ X)
Was bloody freezing tho. Damn Victor weather.
So yus, last night when we got off the bus in Victor, were walking up the main street to get free donuts, and a really drunk dude in a white floppy hood that covered his eyes smashed into Kate. His girlfriend then proceeded to pull him along and all was fine until we got about ten meters up the street when Kate turned round and started walking back.
Asked her what was up and she answered with 'You know that guy who was supposedly "drunk"? Yeah.' He nicked her phone. Joy. Spent about an hour going to various cop type places (booze bus, cop on the street) and eventually ended up at the cop shop to report it. Don't think she's got a snowball's of getting it back, but may as well try.
So yes, that wasn't fun. Neither was the cold and wind, but the rest of it was. Whee~~ we're free~!
And now I must go change and head off for work. So not in the mood .-. Money, 'narti, think of the money~ ^-^
