A~ny second now, Dad will be getting off the computer... *sigh~*
I got rid of the spare bed today~ =DD So now my room actually has room! Moved my chest of drawers back in there from the wardrobe too, which is also cool cos now I have more desk space since the telly's on the drawers instead of the desk, and~ I can get all my clothes and stuff to get dressed in the morning without having to go into the wardrobe, which is always bloody freezing in winter.
But yes, my room has been fully converted now =D
Brother and father units have both been intently discussing various components of a new pooter for me over the past... week or so. Apparently the system they've come up with is going to cost about $1500, I think. Maybe $1300. Something like that anyway.
My main question is obviously 'why the hell are they talking about this?' They both know that while I have enough dollars to buy the said machine, I will be pretty much broke by the time it lands on my desk. I have about $1300 in my Citibank account and another $200 in my ANZ one (plus the $300 'leftover' from clothes shopping, which is obviously going to be spent on clothes), so clearly I'm not going to be buying this thing for a good... several months. Year even, possibly more.
So why're they discussing it? All the stuff they're looking at will be considerably cheaper and/or obselete by the time I buy it, and when I made the suggestion that maybe Dad was going to just randomly going to go out and buy me a computer, he made it very clear that he's not contributing a cent to the thing, which I've known all along, but whatever.
Conclusion? The male species is weird~ and likes building things that aren't even going to exist Oo
