Fri, Nov. 12th, 2004 12:05 amI should not be wanting hot chocolate in the middle of November. In winter cold's not so bad, because that's where it's s'posed to be. September, Okay, I can deal with that, September's like a forth month of winter anyway. October, getting a bit pissy now. November? November is supposed to be perfect weather, somewhere between 25 and 30 every day, beautiful. Last month of spring, only a couple of weeks left til summer starts. You would expect more nice days when you can sit out on the balcony and read/sketch/whatever as opposed to crappy days where all you can do is sit inside and watch recorded episodes of Kath & Kim.
Cold in winter is fine. When it starts invading November, I get pissy. Last year I seem to remember it was fabby. Revised for year 12 exams on the balcony virtually every day, shiny. It was s'posed to be 30 yesterday and I think it got to about 21. Has been cloudy, drizzling and bloody windy all day. That may be last-month-of-spring weather in some places, but not Adelaide. Not a happy 'narti.
Where's this bloody drought that's put us on water restrictions the past year and a half and is supposed to be affecting the whole country? Where the hell is spring?
Better be here by next Friday for Colin's birthday-slash-end-of-school-slash-for-the-hell-of-it party
Yes, I'm procrastinating on writing stuff, namely State Power essay. Live with XP
