$10/hr extra for Monday, Tuesday and~ Friday. I RULE. was nice~ and quiet tonight. Only... 5 tables, one of which had to go within about 20 minutes, so didn't have that much to do with them. And Bernie was there for the first hour of my shift, so 'sall goot ^^ Didn't get inundated with enough takeaways to service the whole of the Adelaide Hills, so that's good ^^

*bounces* Almost-double-time~ for 15-ish hours, 'pending on what happens tomorrow **^^** My negotiating skills rock X)

Every single girl who works at that restaurant owes me BIG TIME after this week ><

Started out I was just working Monday and Saturday. Then I get called up for Tuesday, then tonight... now I'm on tomorrow and Friday as well. Why? Because quite literally everyone is living it up in Melbourne, Sydney or Port Bloody Elliot. Everyone. One girl's getting back tomorrow, but I'll still have to go in, because every night this week has been busier than the average Friday, and I've been the only one available to handle it.

I hate dealing with customers who're pissy because they've been waiting an hour for their takeaway or entree. They don't get especially pissy, because Hills people (in this restaurant, at least) appear to be too polite. They just say, "Umm... Just wondering if you could check on our meal/takeaway. It's just that... well... you told us it'd be ready in a few minutes and, well, we've been waiting an hour ._.;;" In a way that makes me feel guilty even tho it's not my bloody fault .-. At least they all seem to realise that tho, that I have no control over what the kitchen does.

Bonus tho, two tables gave tips tonight =D Quite big ones too, not just whatever the change would've been from a 50 if their meal was $48.90 or something. Got a $7 tip from one, then a $13 from another *^^* And all this while it was so bloody busy they must have had to wait longer than they'd've expected. One guy was so excited about the duck tho X3;; And then his daughter got really embarrassed when he asked for the rest of it in a takeaway bag X3;;

My feet are going to be worn down to stubs by the end of this week. At least I'm not starting until 6.

Friday is going to be a living hell! Hurrah! =DDD
