Fri, Jul. 22nd, 2005 12:19 amOMG we had so much fun today XDD
'bout 1-ish, Gem (
kamara who is friends only, so you won't be able to read her stuff unless you're friended already) rocked up, and there was much squeeing and bouncing and all that kind of meeting-net-friend-in-the-flesh-for-the-first-time stuff. She has an incredibly infectious laugh XDD
Once we'd finished lunch, we left for the cinema, as was the original plan, where I was shocked to find my student card actually worked! =0 I don't think the cashier quite knew what to do with it, but yus, it worked =DD Didn't work in Sydney, but worked halfway 'round the world in Liverpool. Go figure.
Btw, we saw Madagascar, and have come out of that movie with so many lines XD Namely "If you have any poo, throw it now." *snerk*
Came back, had dinner and watched Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, which these girls seem obsessed with. It was cute tho *^^*
And yes, fun time had by all. Even tho it was FREEZING and I'm not convinced that this is the height of summer. I've yet to see any of these 30-degree days you lot've all been complaining about. It's still 14 T_T I am, however, amused by how it started out on Friday as "oh come on, it's lovely!" and has degenerated through "it is a bit cool, isn't it?" to "Okay fine, it's a weak summer >>" X);;
...I like ta move it move it.
