Sat, Jan. 21st, 2006 12:18 amToday in brief: HOT.
Today in slightly less brief:
o Adelaide Central Market =D Got pocky, not much else, eating pocky now. Mmm. More importantly, air-conditioned! =DD
o Santos 30th floor =D Could only stay in the reception area, so could only see the sea view, not the Hills, but whatever. Adelaide still prettiest city in Oz =D Also air-conditioned! =DD
o Rundle Mall (mostly not ac), complete with Haigh's (obviously ac, otherwise the chocky would melt), 200-grand brass pigs (not ac. I pity Cassie's arse for sitting on one of them XD;), Mall's Balls (not ac), Borders (ac! Sat there for a good two hours looking at manga and FMA art book X3 They still don't have any Tsubasa tho ><) and~ Hungry Jacks at the end for lunch (ac, w00t)
o Walked back to the car. In the market car park. From Hungry Jacks. Naturally, not ac. Bugga.
o Drove to Marion, no decent movies on 'til 8pm, got ice cream, drove home. All ac =D
o SWIM! Not ac, but so~ nice and cool and refreshing X)~~
o Chicken and mango salad for dinner. Mmm.
o Mt Barker to see Memoirs of a Geisha. Omg so beautiful ;_; Love the cinematography, loved the story, loved the costumes, just loved *^^* (also, ac =D)
o Home =D (no ac. Piss buggery crap)
How hot is hot, you ask? Welp, dunno exactly what it got up to, but when we were driving home from Marion at 6pm, the radio said it was still 41 degrees. Oh yeah. And they reckon it'll hit 42 tomorrow too, which means that with the 42 we had yesterday, it'll officially be a heatwave--three days in a row above 40, five days above 35 or a week above 30. GO ADELAIDE GO.
IT'S TWELVE THIRTY AT NIGHT AND STILL TWENTY-SIX DEGREES OUTSIDE. SHOOT ME NOW.
