Update on Stuff. Oh~ the stuff that I've been doing.
Yeah. Transmission will cost about~ $1200 to replace. Fixing is out of the question, it's that buggered. The car is, in fact, sitting in the transmission fixing place in Lonsdale, and will be at least until Monday. Dad has offered to pay for basically half the cost of replacing the transmission, in that Col and I pay $300 each and he'll pay any extra.
This made me go "Ooh!" and ask if, for example, K8 and I could find a better car for around about the cost of the transmission for the Magna, could we go for that instead, with the same deal that we pay $300 each and he pays the difference? He said, "Then go for it." =D
The catch? Have to find it by Monday, otherwise the people in Lonsdale will start getting pissy with a Magna sitting in their shop with shot transmission. Haha, yeah~~~ .-. I have two major assignments due this week, and if past history is anything to go by, I'm sure K8's got more. So screw looking this weekend. Uni > car.
The bonus, tho, is that Colin's kinda sitting on the fence with this one, sorta leaning towards the idea of switching cars. SCORE!
I had other stuff to say... maybe... Actually, been doing assignments all day, so~ prolly not.
OH WAIT! YES! Twenty-first stuff =DD
Definitely be masquerade *nodnods* So fancy dresses, but~ we'll supply the masks. So it'll be like a souvenir of my 21st, yay =D Mum and I are going to go into Spotlight after I've finished work on Tuesday, buy feathers and sequins and stuff, whatever else you put on a masquerade mask. Spray paint possibly X3 And whatever I think would look cool for invitations. Oh, oh, those little mini-mask things! That are about two centimetres across! Anybody know where you get those from?
