Australia Day is January 26, right? Melbourne gets their traditional Boxing Day Test, Sydney gets the New Year Test, and in Adelaide we get the Australia Day One-Dayer. This Test that's happening in bloody JANUARY? On from the 24th to the 28th. Meaning not only are we missing our traditional Aussie Day One Dayer, it's going to be DAY THREE of a Test match that we should've had two months ago. It could at LEAST be day one! Give us a LITTLE bit of our prestige back!

Every year for the past... many, the Adelaide Oval has been absolutely PACKED with green and gold. Sellout every year, no matter who we're playing. The atmosphere is brilliant, clapping the bowler in for the first over or two, massive 'OOOOOH's when the ball beats the bat, even if it wasn't particularly close. And omg imagine the roars if/when Tait's in the one day squad this coming summer! Taking a wicket at his home ground on Australia Day with the whole Adelaide crowd screaming their heads off...

Not going to have any of that. Test match. Day smegging THREE of a Test match. With the way India's playing at the moment, day three might only last a session and a half. What kind of shitty Australia Day cricket match is that?

I've seen several people posting ye olde writings/piccies and had the vague idea of posting some of Silent Harmony version one, circa 2003. Had a glance through it and OH MY GOD NO. I'm not inflicting that on anyone, don't worry o.o; Holy crap that was BAD. I mean, apart from the fact that Nol hadn't been invented yet, neither had the Own, I don't think I even had any kingdoms outside Raykin.

Nimay was leading the entire freaking army out to somewhere on the eastern border... That's LLAYAD. Llayad doesn't do squat, let alone need the entire Raykinian army to sort it out oO Also, it's pure desert on the eastern border, so much so that it's not really a border so much as a fuzzy, uninhabited transition between Raykin and Llayad.
