This will interest all of two people on my flist

OKAY SO. K8's 22nd party was last night, on the Big Night Out Bus that starts at one pub and does a bit of a pub crawl to another four pubs/clubs over the course of the night, basically stopping at each place for an hour or so. Good fun! Not worth the $50 in itself, but still had fun.
At one~ such place, namely the Alma, I was in conversation with someone but only really half-paying attention because there was a guy behind him who looked a hell of a lot like Brett Burton. So I pointed him out between the two guys with their backs to us, and Alex, the guy I was talking to, said I should ask him if he was~ Burton. Woulda looked like a dick if he said no, and even more if he said yes, BUT THEN. One of the guys in a black shirt turned around and looked far too much like Simon Goodwin for it to be coincidence.
So I started quietly spazzing before finally going up to Burton with Alex and saying hi and shaking his hand and askdjghlas it was awesome.

Talked to him for a short while, cos as fantastic as footy players are at dealing with the public, I'm sure they'd rather talk with their mates than random fangirls >> He sounded pretty bummed that his knee's going to keep him out for the next 12 months =/ Then~ found Anna P and after about five minutes of persuasion, managed to get her to come and meet Goody 8D

More photos will come as I get them from various people who had cameras and stuff. But yeah. Very relaxed for having just won a freaking nailbiting match by 8 points literally 6 hours previously. Probably happy to be back as a winning captain again after losing five weeks in a row ^^; So yeah, congratulated him on said win, should have hugged him but was too weak so settled for handshaking and melting into a happy puddle of 'narti.
Then spotted Brent Reilly behind us and he seemed just as interested in looking at the photos as we were XDD Ah footy players. I do so love my boys and now I have photos with two of them 8D There's one floating around SOMEWHERE with Reilly but again, need to chase people up to find it. I'm so glad with how those two came out, tho. OMFG MY BOYS <3 And on the day of a somewhat epic win, too!
I have autographs from various cricketers including Andrew Symonds and my faaavourite Jason Gillespie. I have photos with Simon Goodwin and Brett Burton. Oh yes. My life is complete X)~
