Mmm~ this is the life. Out on the balcony, sounds of the night*, Word opened up for writings. I love my laptop *^^* I wrote almost an entire chapter in a day yesterday, cos I wasn't stuck inside staring out the window wanting to write it there.



* a cricket over there, the odd rustle in the trees of possums--one of which I can see in the birch over there, gits are due to start screeching at some point--and those insects that are everywhere going "pip pip pip" all the time.

edit~ (ten minutes later) yep, there go the possums. Ah, the peace and tranquillity of the Adelaide Hills. See if we get a train before midnight.

edit the third~ (1:45) wtf plane? WHAT IS THIS MADNESS? Who's flying planes at 1am? This was one of those propeller-powered ones, like you'd take on a charter flight or something. Jet wouldn't be flying because Adelaide airport has a curfew. So again, I say, wtf plane?

Yeah~ I'm set for my final semester of uni omg. Enrolled and registered for (all two of) my topics, new sticker on the student card, which has been shown to banks so they don't charge me, got a diary and a parking permit for the semester, got a laptop bag in green, picked up assignments from last semester (namely the Maya book that had all the little tips and stuff I picked up doing Squishy) and~ yes. Yay and stuff. Only thing I didn't get was a wall planner because they don't come in til O-week.

OH AND. ANNA P AND I ARE GOING TO THE FOOTY THIS YEAR. EEE. Just got a letter from the Crows on Friday to say that we've gotten to the top of the waitlist and are eligible for seasons tickets :DDDDD I just gave them a ring about the concession prices, since I'm only going to be a student until July, and they said it's fine to get the concession, just for the last month or so I'll have to pay extra at the gate. "And yaknow, they might not look closely at your student card anyway," says the Crows person. Snrk.
