Oh god my next month is going to be a nightmare. I mean, I already knew it was going to be hectic because of All the Things, but it really only just hit me today. TAFE is of course coming up, meaning that'll take up HOURS and, guaranteed, I'll have two or three days of literally nothing but loading TAFE jobs. I hate those days with the fiery passion of a thousand hells. I'm going to do everything in my power to not have to do any TAFE jobs at all after this lot.
On top of that, the usual dealing with phone calls and OPM and quoting and chasing jobs and general customer service. And, let's be honest here, look after the two sales people who can't be arsed to learn the system enough to do their own admin. You'd think after a year and a half you could make an intelligible quote/job sheet, but no. But that's a rant for another day. Probably next week >>
BUT NO INVOICING OMG. Accountant!boss has learned the invoicing system so I don't have to do that anymore 8D That's half an hour of my day I get back <3
AND. As of next week (roughly when TAFE starts getting evil, joy of joys) designer!boss is on paternity leave for, like, the entire month. Of course I am loving the artworks (8DDDDDD) but with TAFE as well? Holy shit. Just ... why haven't we got anyone else to help with this? We're going to have two people doing the work of four for a MONTH. alkjdfhgajdkl.
The worst of it, though, is always the other people. People asking if you can just do this really quick and easy thing and WHY DON'T YOU DO IT YOURSELF IF IT'S SO QUICK AND EASY and people getting stressed and taking it out on the rest of the office and people thinking their job is the most important one I load/artwork/upload/whatever and DO IT YOUR BLOODY SELF THEN and oh my GOD. If it weren't for the people, I could weather this thing so much better. See if I can actually get some help this time. Ugh. Maybe I should take annual leave =|
