Why must lighting be so expensive? Like, there's comparatively not that much to it, and yet it's looking like it'll be one of the more expensive elements of the house. I got my quote from the place where Laura's brother works and can hence get me a pretty impressive discount, but it's still quite hellish. I'm just doing studio, bedroom and living/dining at this stage, everything else can wait. This is what I've been ( looking at )

So for all the pretties I actually want, not the sparkly crystal ones at the bottom, it's still over $1500. And that's before getting the electrician in. For something I can't take with me that's a lot =/ So onward we look.
