I've never heard of Melbourne being the windy city >< Or they fly-y city, for that matter. Since when were there flies in a CITY? I mean, really. You expect them in the desert, but the second biggest city in the country?
And yes, I've heard that and experienced it myself XD; We got lost nearish to the G on our first day, when it was humid, muggy and 30-odd degrees. Then suddenly, going over a bridge, VOOMF, MASSIVE-ARSE GUST OF WIND that was like GALE FORCE. Now that is a cold front. Going from "I wonder if anyone would notice if I went topless..." to "WHY DID I NOT BRING MY JUMPER?" in literally three seconds.
