Guys~! I'm looking to buy a laptop. Not right now cos I'm pov, but after having bought everything BIG that I need to in the next... four or five months (I think that's when car rego comes up) I can start thinking about saving for something impressive. I'm thinking of spending around about a grand (currently around US$700 or~ £450. Yes, my dollar is shithouse once again, business as usual), preferably less, willing to go a hundred or two more. But yeah. Basically just for internet, word processing and Photoshop. Not sure how big, but I guess small enough to fit in my uni bag. Impressive battery life would be A++
ANYWAY. Point of this post is! What should I be looking for? Or, what should I NOT be looking for? I'm avoiding LG because their tellies at least leave something to be desired, so I don't imagine the screens on their laptops would be much of an improvement. Sony Vaios look pretty and Sony stuff NEVER breaks but after a brief browse of their website they look to be a smidge out of my price range. Like. Double what I'm willing to pay >> And I'm not looking at Macs cos I'm not insane <3
So! Your laptops! Tell me about them! And bare in mind that if you say anything more technical than the size of the hard disk, I won't have a bloody clue what you're talking about.
