Mum and Dad have been searching for one all summer, but they've all been nudging the $90 a kilo mark xX (usually they're more like $60 a kilo, sooooo yeah. EXPENSIVE.) BUT. Today~ they found one at David Jones, fresh South Aussie cray, for $150. The thing weighs more than 3 kilos. THREE KILOGRAMS OF CRAYFISH. We're not just going to get medallions out of its tail, they're going to be full-on STEAKS.

CRAYFISH DINNER EEEEEE.

You CAN get them for $20-ish but they're the small, frozen ones. Not nearly as sweet and the texture's all wrong.

And this thing is HUGE.

Good god the price has gone up, my Dad is a Cray-fisherman. It would be lovely if the people who actually caught them got somewhere near that price per KG.
