I finally got off my arse and went for a walk around the bushland behind my unit complex :D Completely exhausted now but this is good.
Pictures! For the Poms: this is totally why I looked at everything in your country going 'IT'S SO GREEN AND ENGLISH'. This is typically as green as it gets until ferns are involved.

Directly behind my unit complex. Viiieeeewwwww. I did end up around at that dam you see right on the right edge. Accidentally but oh well.

I'm used to boring old stringy barks around where I used to live, so all these beautiful stark white gums around Blackwood are just particularly beautiful to me.

Down into the gorge, and suddenly ash trees and other autumn trees all along. It was really incongruous. No idea what they were doing down there. I was expecting ferns and such down there. Oh well.

This spot made me really, really want mossy rocks/ground cover in my garden. How do I moss?

Yukkas are cool.
