YES

I DID IT.

IT ALL WORKS. I THINK. AND IT'S BEAUTIFUL AND FUNCTIONAL AND THIS HAS TAKEN MONTHS.

Okay so. Everyone test it. Especially Mac users and even more especially iThing users. I mean, I tested it today at work but I don't have an iThing and I've since changed a few things.

Also, nitpick. Too big a gap somewhere? Text too small? Image/design not cool enough? Point it out. I'm 100% done with this shit but I'll fiddle with it as much as I can to get it perfect.

Known Issues
o In Firefox and edge, the gallery images on the print page are offset by, like, 30 pixels. I don't care. That issue is not worth the time:benefit ratio.
o That's it there are no other issues I've found.

I may or may not make a splash page. idk if I really need one. I feel like the header thingie I've got with the logo in the corner is enough, but at the same time having all the words on the main page of a design portfolio rankles with me. idk man. I'm taking a break at the very least. No web design for a MONTH at least.

Holy shit balls I finished it. I actually did everything before the end of the month.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH

I'm going to bed.

Tomorrow I'll do the print, and it'll take me a day because InDesign does what I goddamn tell it to do.

WOW.

I swear to all things shiny this better get me a job.

Am I mistaken or is there supposed to be text that's missing? Like the Q to that A.

It looks absolutely beautiful, Narti, go you <3 <3 I especially love the showcase page of your books. They look simply amazing all together.

The background photographs are gorgeous too and I really like the parallax effect. Images with such high resolution may impose a heavy load burden on devices with limited memory, but eh ... it's a folio trying to dazzle people, not a workaday customer site ;)

Here's what I tested this morning:

It works absolutely fine on my heavily ailing PC in Firefox, IEE and Chrome (and if this dying zombie can view it, I swear any PC can).

It has no issues on my iPad 3 using Safari or Chrome, though it takes a bit of 'thinking time' on first load.

It stops working on both my iPhones (3GS, 4) using Safari browser whenever your context 'hamburger' menu extends beyond the page - trying to scroll up/down between menu options only scrolls the main window. Errors on the 3GS wouldn't surprise me because it's still running version 5 of the OS, but the 4 is completely up to date ... maybe ask someone you know to test it on their iThing.

Also spotted this sneaky typo in your writing blurb:
I've also noticed a number of job descriptions that ask for copywriting in the role, so here's a bit of esceptional communication skills for you all.

Thanks so much for checking it through so thoroughly!

There are several megabytes involved in the whole thing, but at the end of the day the purpose is to show off the images, so I'm not HUGELY fussed about load time.

The menu not scrolling is something I hope is fixed pretty easily, just changed its position from 'fixed' to 'absolute'--that got it?
