Went to symphony under the stars last night. Big free concert put on by the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. They do it here under this massive sail thingo *nods* The fireworks go off over the other side of the river, which you can't see in that picci, but yeah. They usually only have the fireworks for the 1812 Overture, but they had some really pritti synchronised ones for the Carmen suite too (you'd recognise it if you heard it ^^). Problem there was that the reeds caught on fire XD;;; There was quite a blaze by the time the fire engines got there. 'Twas quite funny tho ^^; Was hoping it wouldn't mean they'd cancel the fireworks for the 1812 Overture later on, but still went on. And~ they had an actual cannon for it too, not just the fireworks. Vera cool ^^

I prolly even saw you there too~ but wouldn't have recognised you cos I dunno what you look like ^^; I couldn't see much beyond the front row of players, let alone the percussion up the back.
