So, so many kinds of cool <3 <3 <3 That's the kind of match that makes me love~ this sport *^^*
Saints: 8 . 9 . 57
Crows: 15 . 13 . 103
Oh yeah X) First quarter was absolutely shithouse, in that we were down 2 to... 30-odd? It wasn't pritti. It was ugly. It was looking like a complete and utter thrashing as of about five minutes in, and the bloody Saints just kept getting goals and it wasn't cool >< Dad had the Crows written off, I was as usual being optimistic, because we'd made an incredible comeback last week (even tho we didn't actually win that one, it was bloody close by the end).
Then! Second quarter! BRILLIANCE ON LEGS. Seriously. I dunno what Neil Craig said at quarter-time, but it worked. Suddenly goal after goal, seriously peppering the goal square, barely ever up the Saints' end at all, and for that quarter, we kicked SIX, count 'em, SIX goals to St Kilda's zero. Zip. Sweet bugger-all.
And Roo did another bloody amazing massively long goal from, like, 60 metres out. <3 Roo~~
There must've been a lo~tta Crows supporters there tonight, actually Oo Cos you know a while back I was talking about that whole "Roo~~~" chant the Adelaideans have going whenever he gets the ball? Could even hear it tonight, and they were in Melbourne Oo Even heard an "A-de-laide!" chant start up once or twice. Our city rules X)
Seriously tho. Bloody hell that was a fantastic game. So, so much love for those bois *^^*
