Why~ does Nova keep telling everyone about a three-car prang on the down track of the freeway at Crafers? No~body's going downhill at 5 in the arvo. That, and I didn't see anything when I was coming up. Just the traffic jam on the up track due to the roadworks condensing three, peak-hour lanes of traffic into one. No mention of that tho 9.9

I swear I could count on one hand the number of correct traffic reports for the freeway. Damn uneducated city people XP

Yaknow, it's kinda disturbing that it takes me longer to get from home to UniSA than it does to get here from Flinders. I live in the Hills! Magill is basically foothills! Flinders is near bloody Marion!

That's just weird. And my arms are achey from steering now. Oh~ for power steering *sigh~*

So yersh. Intro to Thingy. Why are all my subject names so long? Anyway. Not as bad as I thought it'd be. There was a lot of "I liked that bit especially because~" and "You could change this to that", so that was good. Possibly something to do with the "I'm crap at writing and don't want to be good at it" lady not being there. She seemed to dominate last week >> Maybe she's pulled out *hopeful grin*

I actually ended up getting bugger-all in terms of tips for improvement on mine. (That was this one, for the curious who haven't got yrae on their flist.)

Two people didn't like me shortening Nolryn's name to Nol, which made me go "Screw you =P He's only Nolryn when he's in trouble or being official =P", two people said indent the paragraphs, and one person wrote "What does this mean?" under "sweep the desert", which made me remember I'd planned on changing that to "Shut up" when handing it in. Oops.

But yeah, that was it. The rest was all "good characterisation" and "good imagery" kind of stuff. One guy said it was the best of the bunch, so that made me sparkly *^^* And~ what else? *pokes through*

"Grammer was excellant." That shouldn't make me giggle as much as it does.

People like my Nol, yayz =D And they want~ to know~ his se~~~cret. Only there wasn't one, because he doesn't have any =D; Not at that point, anyway. But yeah~ I couldn't think of anything he wouldn't have told anyone, so kinda went off on a tangent with the Sunsets. Worked tho, apparently =3 Friendly banter is always fun X)

So~ yeah. Going to have to poke exercise two tonight, which is basically just the first one I did for the other Intro to Thingy subject (that one). Just gotta make it first person, cut Nol out and shrink it to 400 words. Either that or write something entirely new, which I'm thinking I might do anyway, just cos I can. I have the power! =D Or something. I like describing people through their possessions X3 Would be interesting to do this exercise for Lynnlita's room; I could have fun with that. Problem being that Llayans don't talk in first person. I know, nobody in the tute knows that, but I do, so that's enough for me.

Also? I so shoulda packed my boardies. Too warm for jeans.
