Finally, I'm going to get a new computer \m/ Because while this one was awesome 7 years ago... that was 7 years ago. So yes, with my wonderful IT grad brother's insight, the various bits have been highlighted and come to a total of around $500. And because I know the geekery among the flist will be wondering, ( these are said various bits )
Grand total: $500 give or take \m/ Obviously my screen is still sexy as, ditto the tablet, keyboard, speakers, hard drive and DVD burner. All that stuff's been installed within the last three years or so, 'cept the speakers, but they don't deteriorate over time like the innards.
I figure it'll take me about four weeks to save up enough that I'll be comfortable after buying it. THEN I WILL SQUEE. And then cry when I realise all those programs I'll have to not only install but crack D: Maya especially. That took as long to install as bloody Windows did.
ANYWAY. It will be awesome and I will be squee. So yay =D
