My TV is ALMOST wall mounted! Well, the telly itself is, just need a few finishing touches in mounting the centre speaker underneath it, and fixing the media bookcase to the wall so it won't fall over. It looks so lovely! All clean and no cables, white electronics against the green wall, perfect.
I've also sold the buffet that I'd previously had the TV sitting on. Listed it on gumtree last night for $60, and 37 minutes later got a call to ask if they could come around today to pick it up! I also had four other people interested, so apparently I should've listed it for more. Oh well. Can't know, especially going by the other stuff I've sold that I've been struggling to get past $20. They were stoked with it, in any case, so I know it's gone to a good home. So stoked, in fact, that I mentioned I had the glasses cabinet I'm also going to be eventually getting rid of, of the same era. Got to talking about my plans for the cupboard being turned into a display cabinet with glass doors and shelves, and whaddaya know, the dude does stuff with furniture! So I may well be getting a quote from him. How cool would that be?
I've also bought a wine rack! Picked that up this morning for $40, so I can spruce that up at the same time as the table I got end of the holidays.
