Wed, Mar. 3rd, 2004 01:22 pmMedia, Writing and Rhetoric was most boring. I ended up getting incredibly distracted by the screensaver on the pooter that got projected onto the... projector screen thingo, which is prolly not a good thing.
I have my French textbooks, hurrah! So bloody expensive~ >< $104.44 for a textbook and workbook, and that had been reduced by about $25 too, so yeah. Thank Gawd~ it's my only textbook I hafta buy, other subjects all have readers, which seem to be a maximum of $25. Oh, and the headset microphone thing for the computer course.
Which reminds me, must get onto asking about getting uni email via Outlook Express at home. Mail server name could be anything really: mail.unisa.edu.au, students.unisa.edu.au, mail.students.unisa.edu.au, unisa.edu.au... Hell knows. So, must ask that this afternoon. I checked through Outlook on this machine to try and find it, but it's not where it is in OE, so I dunno.
Hmm, 1:30, mebee I should start looking for the room where my next lesson is. This campus is too damn complicated. It's like a pile of spaghetti with doors attached, I kid you not. The room numbers on the time table may appear to have some sort of logic: B1-56, easy, B building, floor 1, room 56. But no! B building, despite what you may think, is not actually right between A and C like it is on the map. Frigging coridors everywhere, and in what I assume is the main one that links the three buildings, there is one single room marked with a B between A and C.
I'll figure it out eventually, I'm sure ^^;
