Wed, Mar. 3rd, 2004 03:28 pmOk~ so the time table was stuffed and French was s'posed to start at 1, not 2. Dun matter anyway, not like I missed anything vital. They were congugating etre when I got there, and then went onto negative. If I don't start learning new stuff rather than repeating year 8 or 9 French pretty damn soon... I dunno. I want my year 12 French teacher back. Cos, yaknow, she can actually speak the language? According to this teacher, the fact that pouvoir takes the infinitive is way~ too advanced for the class... I freaking learnt that in year 11! Screw French 2A, I'll move onto French 3A, cos 2A, despite what the enrollment thingo said, is just too damn basic so far. And the fact that one of the girls, who apparently did year 12 French last year, was saying "but it says in the book 'to be hot' is 'avoir chaud'" when we were talking about the bloody weather is just worrying.
Uni is supposed to be like doing year 12 again three times over. French is year 9 at best. I'm spending my own bloody dollars on this course; it better be worth it.
...Oh no. I hope the Computer course isn't going to be like the Online @ UniSA workshop, in which they began by saying "this is a desktop =D all the little pictures with words underneath are icons =D" (and no, I'm not exaggerating).
K, I'm going to go off and write my *gasp!* 50 words in French about a family member now. Stick in some spiffy stuff like si clauses and mebee a subjunctive or two and maybe she'll say "you should be doing French 3A =D *moves 'narti to higher class*" or something.
Ce cours est trop~ fondamental pour moi. Je veux apprendre~ quelquechose! >
