Formal tonight~ *bounciebounce* Wouldna thought I'd be excited about it, but there you go. I have a friend~ to go with, which is something I didn't think I was goingto have a year ago, so yersh, I'm happy *^^* Oh yeah, and I luv my dress X)
Had the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala on last night. Strangely enough, 'twas funny X) One of the acts was a Kiwi (well, two were actually) and she started with, "I'd just like to get one thing out of the way first: Six. Fish and chips. Nipple." This of course is absolutely hilarious with a Kiwi accent (aka, ik-sunt) because their 'I's sound like 'U's, so essentially, it's "Sux. Fush ind chups. Nupple." Seriously, You hafta be an Aussie to get it XDD
Other Kiwi act was a pair of guys singing a song they'd made for a Kiwi movie, but it got rejected. Honestly people, what's the only Kiwi movie you know? XDDD I tink the funniest bit was "We're not going to make it, there are too many of them. We made it! Hooray!" They took all these quotes from the movie and did them in such good voice. Kiwis are funny people. Yes, half the reason is prolly cos of their accent, but still~
