Lookie! It's 'may's and 'min's house when they were iccle kiddies *^^* I've actually been wanting to do this since everyone and their mother was puting screenshots of their Sims houses up, but of course several things prevented me from making the house in Sims. Number one: I don't own the game. Number two: Those houses are all modern, Western-style, not ancient Raykinian-style. Number three: So's the furniture.
So~ I did it in Photoshop, again, cos I was bored~~
To start off with, the wall with the window is the wall that faces the road, then the yukka is in the back 'garden'.
On the roof is the kitchen, with a fire for cooking, a big~ cooking pot, a chopping board, some chopping knives, a bowl of vegies and stuff, and a random fork for... poking things. I think it was intended for the fire. Raykinians all have their kitchens on the roof, and they generally eat on the roof too, unless it's one of the ve~ry rare occasions that it's raining, or the considerably more frequent occasions that it's too bloody hot outside. First person to say 'but it's always too bloody hot' gets thwopped XP
Inside on the top floor is the twins' room, with a clothes chest and a pile of blankets and stuff to sleep in. They're not really into matresses, cos they're expensive, so only the nobles have that privelage.
So, come down the stairs and you're in the hallway/meeting room/dining room/whatever-the-hell-else-it-could-be room. Multi-purpose, that works. Mehni, the girls' father, is a merchant who deals specifically in rugs from Kazin and Llayad, so he's got a typically Kazinian rug on the floor to make visitors and prospective buyers go 'Oooh~' and maybe buy from him. Table is short, no chairs, cos they barely ever use the thing so there's no point in spending money on wooden furniture that's only ever going to get in the way.
Finally, parentals' room with the same stuff as in the twins' room.
As I said, back garden consists of red sand and a yukka. Hurrah! Side door, next to the ladder, has designs on it that let other people know what the occupants do. The bloo zig-zag is the mark of someone working at the palace (Riona, their mother), and the red dots typically mark a merchant. The green squiggles at the top say 'rugs' for obvious reason.
Well that was fun =D
