Finally got Cassie's prezzie sent today, and find out she's getting home tomorrow~ not Wednesday as previously thought. Bugga. Ah well, I'm sure she won't mind waiting a day or two. Was sad to see it go, to be honest ;_;

Going down to Victor on Wednesday to see the cousins and have Aussie Day lunch. Meaning not going to the Aussie Day One-Dayer. But~ I've been to several cricket matches this season, so I'm happy ^^ Last two days of the Kiwi test, a day of a Shield match, and of course the 20Twenty game, which was hella fun XD One-Dayer on Wednesday would be the cream of them all, but yeah, went to more cricket than usual this summer, so I'm not complaining. Too much >>;

And tomorrow~ we're having another crayfish dinner X)~~~~~~~~~ Prawns~ (aka shrimps for overseas people) and smoked salmon~ and a bit of tuna sashimi~ and a few scallops~ (I swear they have another name overseas too...) coupla bits of mango~ and of course, the cray (aka lobster for overseas people). Oh you SO envy X)~~~~~~~~

We say prawns =P And scallops. And both lobster and crayfish, as they're different species; lobster being large and saltwater, crayfish being smaller and freshwater.

I'm feeling pedantic today, as I'm sure you can tell.

Ok, prawns and scallops you get right, but I know for a fact that what you call lobster is what we call crayfish, and what you call crayfish we call yabbie *nods wisely*

Yes, I'm well aware of the fact that Aussies stuff up shellfish, but as far as we're concerned, the difference between a cray and a lobster is that lobsters have claws, crays don't. And then you've got your maron (marron? I dunno) which are like bloody big yabbies.

...I want yabbies. I haven't had yabbies in YEARS~ ;_;

And I just dislike seafood, unless it's drowned in batter and fried first =P I live just about as far from the sea as you can get in Britain. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

no dude, crays and lobsters r diff species,n they cant really get lobster over there n they eat crays or something but they are completely diff species. if u dont believe me u can hav a mega discussion wit my mum cos she is a seafood conosier and has had it 4eva, cos we had a discussion teh otha day cos i said anna think lobs n crays r the same, they so arent arent they? n i was rite, n they r sep species so there!!!

also its really hot at my house. its curently 38C,cos mum just got her new car n it has one of those c wot the temp is outside things so yes am hot, but am inside wit aircon on so not bad bt havta play tennis 2nite, hot, hot, hot, it will b. mums car is awesome dude, ull have to see it, btw it appears that dude is the word of the day4me,

y wot u up2 2nite?if i finish tenis early than normal may consider a movie bt that means i hafta finish by 8:45ish, that wont happen wit 3sets2 6 starting at 7pm n they always take 4eva 4 old farts to get bacl on da court afta each set, blah, we r goin 2 da beach 2mor, mayb middleton or aldinga, fmaily thin we havent decided yet. hmm r u working or sumtin?
