I <3 having my scanner back *T___T* Areas of black are a smidge speckly, but the other colours are all pretty much perfect. See~ tiger's not red and cheetah doesn't have omfgRED eyes *^^*
Those are frickin' AMAZING! How tf did you get them to look fuzzy?! (And to look like recognisable animals? That's -my- main problem. But let's stick with the fuzzy question for now.)
Anyway, fuzzy... I think the key is to use lots of short strokes to colour rather than doing the kinda zig-zag colouring. It's far more tedious, but so long as you've got something good on telly while you're doing it, the hours just fly by =D Also~ must keep the pencil sharp. Cos otherwise you get really fat hairs, and that's not fuzzy X3
As for the recognisable animal XD;; My school's art program, from year five through year 12, taught me damn near bugger-all except how to copy stuff, so that's probably got something to do with it X3;; Seriously, nothing about proportions or how to draw hands and feet (my GOD would I have killed for proper tuition in that Xx), no~ they wanted us to copy Monet or copy a photo of your grandfather in the style of Picasso ><
...I'll stop ranting now XD;;; I'm sure it helped somewhere along the way with copying photos of big cats tho X)
