So. We lost. Bugga. Least I won't have to worry about missing seeing the Grand Final live on Saturday then. Still... *sighs whistfully* Woulda been nice to get up the Power supporters' arses since they won it last year.

K8's a freak and wants to us to road trip to Perth XD;; No way in HELL we'd be doing that in the Magna tho. Eww. I couldn't think of a worse way to spend... however long it takes to drive to Perth. Three or four days, prolly. In the desert with the Magna. Ew. 'twould have to be in the Skyline, yepyep.

And now I have to go buy loo paper. W00t.

i sorta assumed it would have to be my car. but it might be a bit long drive i think. cheap air tickets would prob be better and cheaper, i hear the desert petrol prices are astronomical.

I know when we drove up to Alice Springs prices were already at a dollar a litre, and this was when I was, like, 10. That's a decade ago! Cheap air tickets better than driving. And in the same token, Sydney's prolly better than Perth. Perth's s'posed to be a lot like Adelaide, in that there's really nothing to do there.

yeah first showdown final ever, thats why it was such a big deal here. it was awesome. they showed image of the city during the match and it was dead. there werent any lights or ppl or anything. everyone was watching the game. very cool.

ive been to sydney already. to c gin. dunno. queensland would be cool. we could go the theme parks. i havent been since i was in yr 6. the 3 park superpasses are cheapish but queensland flights are expensive i think.

hmm im not goign to darwin. way too bloody hot... and crocodile. yick.

we wouldnt be able to go 4 a while cos u will have to save money again. u will be brok when u get back!

but u should be able to come on hol with my family and chris to middleton if u want. will make sure wen u get back.

Darwin... One of Col's friends stayed there for two days on the way to Bali, cos he had rellies there. He said it was way, way too long to spend in Darwin XD;;

Queensland's expensive, cos they get tourists from all over the world coming there, not just Aus. Sydney does too, but it's not as expensive as the Gold Coast.

Middleton sounds much more bank account friendly X3

Damn I wish I coulda been in Adelaide for the showdown. That would've been so cool! XD

For those two or three hours, Adelaide woulda been better. At that point in time, I was sitting at the computer, trying and failing to get the live audio working online, and settling for staring at the scoreboard as it refreshed every two minutes to show we'd gotten another three goals in that time. I can think of better ways of watching finals showdown!

Bite your tongue! Of course it's worth a nice trip through the desert - Perth ownz! Um ... don't go in summer, though. XD

If you got cheap airfares it -would- be good ... but that's a lot harder than it sounds. Every time I've been back, the airlines have skinned us. Then again, it's prolly a lot cheaper from Adelaide.

And if it's any consolation, the final was an absolute screamer. Crows got back to within 9 points in the last quarter and I nearly ate my couch cushion. And you've got to get bonus points for managing to score a goal before the first bounce ... ^o^

I'm eww-ing about my Magna, not Perth XD I'm sure Perth's a lovely place--it's supposed to be a lot like Adelaide, so how could it possibly be bad? =DD

I should hope my family unit have recorded it, even tho we did lose. Close games are what footy is all about =D That, and whomping your arch rivals by double and a half times their score, in the finals. Mmm, Power cut X)
