OMFG What a match <3 Yes, we lost, but omfg we came SO FREAKING CLOSE, and Tait's bowling was just fantastic <3 <3 <3 And the crowd was hella fun too XDD

One of the NSWians tho, Thornley? Don't like him. I was completely indifferent to him before today, but now? Nasty little thing, Dominique Thornley. At a stage in the first inning when we were clearly losing, he dove to take a catch, but dropped it and kicked up a divvet in the process. As per tradition, we cheered because he dropped it and we might have some hope back! Yay! But ooh~ he ignored the divvet, norty boi, so we started making unappreciative noises at him, again as per tradition, and he dutifully walked back to kick his divvet back in.

Only to pick it up and throw it back at the crowd. Upstart little NSW bastard. And then he did it again! And this wasn't just tossing it off the field of play to get it out of the way, there was definitely malicious intent there. You'd think the interstate players would know by now how precious Adelaideans are over their Oval. We don't ask much. Just replace your divvet and we say "aww, isn't he a nice boi *appluaud*" But pick it up and throw it at us? Just because you dropped your catch? Tsk Tsk, Thornley.

Tait tho, omg love <3 He's the Hills boi. Six wickets he took, three of them in the one over! <3 He also bowled about, ooh, 15, 20-odd wides? Which is not of the shiny. In fact I'd go so far as to say that bit of it was utter crap. But the six wickets, all at decisive, tense points in the game, that made up for it. And even with all those wides, he still only went for 4.1 an over. Hafta wonder what his figures woulda been like without all the wides. He'd've been, like, 6 for 25. Bloody brilliant <3

And yus, the crowd~~ was so much fun *^^* I love Adelaide, I really do *^^* Literally every ball Gillespie bowled, he got clapped in. We all reckon he should be in South Africa right now, playing for Australia (in about an hour's time, in fact), but since he's stuck back here we had to make him feel at least somewhat happy about being here X3 If he doesn't get selected for the Test squad over there... *twitchy*

And then after the first wicket of Tait's three-wicket over... OMG you could barely hear for how much cheering and clapping going on. It was only a crowd of 8 and a half thousand, but it seriously sounded like a sellout crowd, it was that noisy. And every single wicket in the last coupla overs... eee~~ I can't help but wonder how the guys out in the middle feel with all that cheering going on for them *^^*

So~ yeah. We lost, but fuh~ that was such a fun game <3
