Because the Adelaide Oval is freaking gorgeous:
These are all from the Redbacks v Blues (NSW) match the other week. It got sunnier later on--full sunlight with not a cloud in sight, actually--but by then the Redbacks were on FIRE and I couldn't be screwed taking photos =3 Wait til the Pura Cup match, whenever the hell that is. Should look it up >>;
The Sir Donald Bradman Stand, at the southern end of the ground. With a lone~ Redback fielding (no idea who. Probably a bowler) and~ a lone seagull.
Straight across to the members' stand, with one Jason Gillespie bowling <3 The grass is so patchy~ ;_; Normally it looks like a carpet it's so perfect. Stupid bloody heatwave ><
The Hill, the scoreboard and the Moreton bay figs. The scoreboard's part of either the state or national heritage list =3 I woulda gone around the other side of the ground to the members' stand to take piccies of the Chappell Stands, where I was taking these piccies from, and the scoreboard with St Peter's Cathedral behind, but~ I couldn't be screwed. Again, wait til the Pura Cup match =3
And just cos, some movies:
One ~ Someone batting. Probably Darren Lehmann, just because he's the batsman I know best =3;
Two ~ Gillespie bowling <3 He'd better get selected for the Test squad *shakes fist at selectors*
