Okay, getting really, really pissed off with Flinders U now. SECOND WEEK of lectures, and the lecturer's still not there. Not only but also, there was no EMAIL stating as such. Meaning I had to drive all the way down to uni, spend fifteen minutes finding a freaking PARK, spend $2 on parking because Col had our car and therefore parking permit, spend another ten minutes trying to find the damn lecture theature becuse it was in Social Sciences rather than Humanities like every other English topic, only to find my tutor from Tuesday saying, 'Hey, Kate's still sick, lozl =DD You can go home! LOLLERSKATES!!! =DD'
So I donated my remaining hour-and-a-half-ish of parking to some random guy who was parking next to me as I was leaving, and drove all the way back home again.
That wasted an HOUR AND A HALF OF MY DAY, half an hour of which was trying to navigate the bloody place in car and on foot, two dollars in parking, and several more in petrol. Let's see... 45km round trip, can go 400-ish on a tank, which is about $65 in Mum's car... About $7.50.
*pays Mum back, cos that's not fair on her*
I'm a uni student. I could've used that hour and a half and ten dollars in FAR better ways.
All because they couldn't be screwed sending a fucking EMAIL.
