1) What are you reading now?
Nussing. I need to either buy up or~ get to the library *nods*
2) What's the last thing you finished reading?
Erm... whichever was last on the list for uni. Joe Cinque's Consolaion I think it was, by Helen Garner. Very law-y. Mreh.
3) What's the book on your wishlist?
Ooooooh bugga me. Erm. The rest of the Belgaiad series by David Eddings. I have 4 of a total... 12 I think? Yeah XD; And of course, anything by Joanne Harris, but her next one's not out til, like, June or something, I think, and I've got all her others 'cept one that's out of print and costs $200 second hand on Amazon >>
4) Is there a book you own that you've never been able to finish?
No. I disown books that I don't like X3
5) Best Book you've read this year?
Gentlemen and Players (Joanne Harris) I finished on the houseboat last December, so that was almost this year >> Other than that, Backwards, the second of my two Red Dwarf novels, by either Rob Grant or Doug Naylor. I forget which of them wrote that one. Read it in the Maldives~ X3
6) Worst book you've read this year?
Loaded by Christos Tchockaskjssdgjkthingie. Uni book, idiot of a main character that I just could not identify with at ALL and I just wanted to smack the stupid git.
7) Favorite Book?
Anything by Joanne Harris <3 Possibly Five Quarters of the Orange is my fave of hers, I think.
8) Favorite Author?
Joanne Harris, duh X3
9) Any author you can't stand?
Never read any of her stuff, but what I've heard about Anne Rice is enough to make my skin crawl.
10) Favorite Magazine?
Inside Cricket. I have one copy. I don't read magazines X3

...Ooh crap. Most of these are ye olde that I've almost forgotten about XD
Jewel of the Air, Black Albino, Harlequin and that elemental girls thing that I got three chapters into and realised I totally lacked plot. I forget what that was called. And obviously SH, but that's not being dropped.
3) What's your preferred genre?
Clearly I love writing crime novels.
4) What's your favourite piece of all the things you've written?
I do love the Own fic I did last year, tho I could prolly read through it now and go "...that's not him oO" but yeah, that was fun X3 I'm also proud of Bouquet if for nothing but the fact I wrote the whole damn thing in a month XDD I always like the most recent thing I've written most. Stuff usually starts looking crap after 6-12 months. The Own fic is the exception, I think. I love my bois X3
5) What's your least favourite?
OH GOD EMERALD FEATHER. It was my first foray into original fiction and away~ from fanfics, and it's cheesier than a round of camembert, I shit thee not.
6) What's the longest you've written on a story?
SH. Four years and counting =D;
7) What story was the hardest to write?
None of them are particularly hard to write. SH is taking a lot longer, but that's more because I'm being too much of a perfectionist with the thing. The Own fic was easy cos my bois rule, Bouquet was easy because there was Stuff happening in every single chapter, not a lot of waiting for people or bumming around the wilderness. Helps having a lot of different charrie points of view, I reckon =3
8) What was the easiest to write?
Bouquet. Every time I sat down at the keyboard, I knew exactly what was happening and how to make it happen. Fantastic fun, that was XD
9) What's your favourite character (of your own characters)?
...Oh for the love of all things shiny. I don't have a favourite, either to write or just as a character.
I think to write, probably Nol, especially with the rest of the archers. He's just natural and casual and good fun =3 The twins are fabulous, but their lack of speech does get a bit cumbersome sometimes.
I love 'may especially out of those two. Her voice is so very strong, which I really only realised writing the Own fic last year, where she had eight pages in first person. She's brilliant, that girl XD
Yan I both hate and love to write because he just flips completely in every fic. Completely calm and in control most of the time, but as soon as sleep becomes a factor he turns into a druggie with withdrawls. Evil, manipulative tyrant, but he doesn't lie and only kills when he absolutey has to. Pick any Own rider ('cept maybe Yoryl or Haenel who've been on 2 and 1 misson/s respectively) and they've probably killed more people in their 5-10 years in the Own than Yan has in his 4000 years of existence. So yeah, love him when I get him right, hate him when he just won't bloody work for me.
I also love Gylepi and Ulkar, 'specially when Gylepi's with his family. And Rumal, brilliant fun to write cos he gots a temper~ X3 Flannel Flower is wonderful cos she's ever so slightly psychotic XD Lynnlita and Shizaaqa I think need more to them before I can love them as much. They're still too easy to label as 'ditz' and 'evil empress'. They'll get there ^^
10) Who is the most complex character?
Yan, without question. After 4000 years, you'd bloody hope so, too XD Nol and the twins kinda seem complex, but they're not really.
