Library iMacs are the most dodgy in the school, I kid you not. There are four upstairs. One doesn't have login stuff on the desktop, therefore can't get on the net. One has login stuff, but they come up with an error. One's got login stuff, but the icons are funky so I'm not sure if they actually work or not. The one I'm on works (obviously) but it doesn't have that little tab bar thingy that Macs are s'posed to have that goves you options like sound & screen res. At least I can mute it via the keyboard, but the bloody thing's stuck in 600x800 >< My Friends page is designed for my home screen, which is naturally larger, and so, side scrolling. Oogyness.

A~nyhoozle, we're not s'posed to return any books anymore, cos the library peoples are packing everythnig in boxes. New carpet~ which is uber!goot cos the current one, which was originally poiply-grey, is now considerably brown in places, and has worn through in others, so yay, new carpet next term ^^

Okies, shall find some piccies of swallows (anyone got a better idea for a distinctive European bird let me know)then print off and... do stuff. Yeah. Sounds like a plan ^^

Something is against it, I swear. Did you use the first number I sent or the second? Cos I stuffed up the first and left the zero there that wasn't s'posed to be there. I know~ the area code's right and everything >< *prods phone*

Buggered thing >< I know mine doesn't mind getting stuff from other countries, cos I used it in France and have a message still on my phone from someone I met there. Growl~

Wonder if there's anything extra you're s'posed to stick on the number when you're sending it out of [insert country name here]? I dunno, shall ask Dad tonight *nods*

Command-control-S (command is the Apple key, if you're wondering) will get the control strip (the little tab-y thing I think you're talking about) to show up. If not, go into the apple menu -> control panels ->Control Strip and turn it on.

As for the icons... funky how? Oo; Describe (or if it lets you, take a picture by hitting caps lock, and then holding down command (apple key)-shift-3 (hit 3 last, by the way nn;). That'll create a screencap in the main harddrive's folder (when you open the harddrive, it'll be there) under like "Picture 1" (or the highest number, depending on who's there) and it'll be a pict file, so it won't be availiable for browsers to view, but you can email it to me if you can access that (xella@dysdaera.net) and... stuff =D;;) And then I'll tell you whether it's fixable ^^;;

Ah~ thankuu Xella-lub, shall remember that for when I need it next, both the control strip activation and screen capping ^^ Shall be muchly useful ^^

Icons are funky in that they've got a scroll thing (as in, piece of paper) instead of the key and sun they normally have. It prolly just means they're just different pictures, but these are school pooters, so it could mean someone's been fiddling with them and stuffed something up. I figure I may as well not bother seeing if they work or not and just go on one that does XD;
