beach time!

Today~ it was 37 degrees, so we went to the beach! Once it had cooled down, of course. This is specifically at Normanville, waaaay down the coast so it's not technically Adelaide anymore, I don't think. They have the best fish and chips you've ever had in your life. And they always give extra potato fritters, for some reason. 'Svery yummy =9 Here have some photos :D


Dog walkers and also fishermen on the jetty :D The dogs came over to us and didn't shake water all over us, score!

It wasn't as dramatic as we were hoping for, too much humidity haze (wtf humidity?) for much beyond smudgy pastels, but it was lovely and peaceful :D

Every time I go to the beach I can't help pitying all the poor Pommies I know who've never been to a real beach =( Brighton really doesn't cut it. Neither does Pendine ... *hugs you* =(

I don't know why, but my puny american brain always gets amused that there are beaches there. I mean, I know its like, an island and all....but I always picture DESERT.
