Why does the power always go off at night? If it went off during the day I could do anything. I could take my book out on the lawn, I could go for a walk, I could ride down to the beach, I could go to the library, I could bum around the city. Sun goes down and BAM, nothing you can do without electricity.

Still, at least it makes the staying-back-late-at-work feel less like a waste of time, since I wouldn't have been doing anything at ALL at home.

That just typical!

it can be kind of nice to read books by candlelight, but the novelty soon wears off!

And I'd forgotten to charge my laptop after the last time I used it so I only had fifteen minutes of battery power for writing =( You can't get into the groove in fifteen minutes!

Sucks muchly.
