Mon, Apr. 13th, 2015 08:03 pmI feel so dirty watching Game of Thrones legally. At last estimate, half the people watching it in Australia are downloading it. And we're the top ranking country, too. Not by percentage of population, by actual number of downloads. Literally our little population of 22mil is outstripping the US. I AM DISGRACING MY NATIONAL TRADITION.
I've been looking at wardrobes, too, which are cheaper than first imagined. I was expecting most of my bedroom's money to go on the wardrobe, but it turns out the bed and the tallboy are the expensive bits. Go figure. So looking at these people, specifically the Halifax and Portsea, both with full mirror option for the doors. The Portsea one has pretty much frameless doors and by golly gee wizz they're pretty, but--predictably--significantly more expensive. Almost 50% more, but still less than what I'd expected. I'm trying to decide if it's worth it, for something I will be looking at for the rest of my time living here every day, every morning when I get up... this is what I've thought on every piece of the house, and in the end I've figured that, five years down the track, I'll regret not having spent those few extra hundred dollars to get [thing] really perfect and beautiful. Do it properly or don't spend a cent.
This one's got me tied. A wardrobe's a permanent fixture, so it's not like I'll be able to just sell it on ebay and replace it with something prettier down the line, but at the same time it's not something I'll be taking with me when I eventually move out of the unit and into a house.
Idk man. I could get half a TV for the price of the frameless wardrobe, but in five years' time will I regret it?
