Aww yeah, so totally booked into Quay for my birthday gonna have a degustation with my besties this is awesome 8DD

In other news, my right foot CANES. It was fine driving home, then I started noticing a twinge pretty much just coming up the driveway, and it's just steadily worsened to the point where I'm now hobbling. If this doesn't clear up by tomorrow, I'm... going to have a really uncomfortable day at work. Balls.

But I'm going to Quay so that's okay 8DDDD

OH GOD YOU GUYS MY DAY Xx Made of pain and also pain. I got to work to find our sandwich press toaster thingo is busted cos it's been catching on fire, apparently, so we've got a temporary replacement until we get a new one. The lid's all wonky and I got my fingers twice on it today =/ Not enough to blister, but still. Ow.

AND THEN. An hour and a bit after I got there (sooooo a bit after midday) the oven broke. So we couldn't cook any pies and pasties, which are, yaknow, THE MAIN THING WE SELL. Especially in winter! So we had to resort to microwaving them, shoving them in the pie warmer, then toasting them so the pastry wasn't so soggy and crap. And had to explain this to every customer who came in. So that was fun Xx The shop was SO HOT by 1:00 and the bloody toaster rack kept getting jammed cos the metal had expanded that much from being switched on the whole time.

We did get a guy around to fix the oven tho. He was hot.

AND THEN. I was stuck there until 5:30 because people just wouldn't leave xX

AND THEN. I got home to find we're out of milk, so I can't have an iced coffee.

Just watch. The Crows'll lose tonight, too. I went against my personal tipping rules and tipped Brissy against 'em. Maybe I'll fluke an eight from eight? HAH yeah right.
