Just got back from seeing Sort of the Rings, second Fringe performance. That was fantastic XD Basically, the whole trilogy condensed into an hour and acted out by two guys. Fantastic XDD Mount Thebardoom!! (No~body will get that but me, but screw you all =P)

I got to throw orcs onto the stage =D Well, red, orange and yellow helium balloons depending on the battle that was taking place at the time, but still X3

Had something of a Pythonesque ending too XD Yaknow those damn eagles? And how they weren't there for theentire~ movie? Gimli was complaining about the lack of them the whole time, then when they finally rocked up at the end, he said, "Nup, if I can't get a giant eagle, they can't either =P *shoots*"

So yeah, that was fun XDD Next up is either Hillsy or~ Rich Hall. Either will be brilliant XD

Writers' Week was fun~ if impossible to find where it was =D;;; Why~ must Adelaide put all its festivals on at the same time? I mean, really. Most of this stuff only happens once every two years, and yet it's all~ on at the same time. Half the parklands are covered in tents for various festivals, it's nuts XD;;

No, really, look. This is what we've got happening:

Adelaide Festival of Arts
Fringe Festival
Womadelaide
Writers' Week
Clipsal 500 (V8 car races, goes for four days)
Adelaide Cup (Horse races. Only one day, but we get a public holiday for it so I feel it may as well get a mention)

Whose idea was it to put all that on within the same month? Least we know why we're the Festival State tho ^^;;

So yeah, Writers' Week. Perfect weather, sitting out under the trees~ in the parklands~ with authors talking about stuff~ and it was just fun =3 One guy in particular was really funny. Totally forget his name cos it was made up of Cs and Zs and Ss all mixed up into some strange and unpronouncable concoction, but yeah, he was fun X3 I reckon I'll go next time too
