So~ I shouldn't really leave Colin in charge of food for any nights while Mum and Dad are away. Every night it's been his turn we've had pizza >>

The city was still really smoky today after the controlled burnoffs... yesterday? Monday? I forget. But yeah~ smoky. They've been doing a fair bit of burning off lately.

Cooper's using me like a set of playground equipment. He doesn't like been stuck inside all day, poor love.

Takeaway ^^; It was Bubba's (our usual) on last Saturday night, Aldgate Café for something different on Monday night, then Domino's last night.

Take-away pizza for three nights I could personally happily live with - if I got anchoives. It makes a good next-day-breakfast too in my book X)

But maybe it's because I don't eat pizza often that I think that.

Too much of a good thing, I think. We have some sort of takeaway every Saturday or Sunday night (whichever night the Crows are playing, basically, so we can eat in front of the telly) so that usually works out to pizza once or twice a month.

Tonight tho? We have near enough $30 left, Mum and Dad get back around 10:30pm, and damnit I want something speccy.

I've never had monk fish so I can't compare, but it does seem hard for anything to top tuna *nods wisely*

Monkfish tail is one of those meaty fishes, which makes it A+ in my book and I recommend you try it sometime.

But even as awesome and tasty as it is, it aint no tuna, nope.

<random fact> Monkfish used to be like... cheapass fish that people would use in stews and stuff. Then suddenly - as is want to happen - it became fashionable and is totally expensive and posh these days D: </random fact>

... While goolging monkfish I found this which I only link because I boggle at how BORING that video is. COOKING SHOULD NOT BE BORING. DAMN YOU VOICEOVER MAN! I want to click the sidebar links and see if the guide to eating sushi is just as dull.
