The clip does make it look pretty good. I'm still not sure I can bring myself to expect it will be just as good as the original though. It would be awesome if it was.
I don't think it could ever be as good as the BBC, simply because the BBC has more money than poor little SBS, and, let's face it, nobody could be as much of a complete git as Jeremy XD Still, looking forward to it nonetheless =3
It's one of the few shows that leave me with aching sides on a regular basis :D

Still, I'm very much intrigued to see how it will end up. I love the cinematography of the original and we have much more stunning landscape than Britain.
We so do <3 We can't compare with the rest of Europe for mountain ranges, but damnit we do wide open spaces like nobody's business! The Epic Races of Epicness will be fun, too. Racing Perth to Sydney, Indian Pacific versus... probably a Monaro or something XD
