I have sent through an email to the Government to see about getting money for my unpaid leave I was owed from Flinders Street, so we'll see where that goes. The website was spectacularly unhelpful and just said to call/email if I wanted to find out more about making a claim. I was expecting a form to fill out. Governments like forms. Still, we'll see where that goes. I have zero hopes of getting anything out of the administrators so let's try for the Government. They also mention getting paid out in lieu of having been given notice, so that'd be another two weeks on top of the two weeks' leave, so almost a month's worth of pay in some way shape or form that I'd really like back. It could pay for my lighting! That'd be nice.

Still haven't had a word from the winning bidder on my camera =/ I've left a message saying if I still don't hear anything from you by tomorrow evening, I'm contacting ebay. Ebay gives the buyer 4 days to pay up and then I can give the next bidder down the chance to buy it instead. All this for $16, ugh .-.

What's next on the list? Format Rust and Tarnish, yes. That's tonight's project, then. I can at least get Rust done, if not the two of them.

EDIT Found a form, yaaaaay.

EDIT2 Balls, they want me to scan a million documents. FINE. Guess I won't be doing all that formatting tonight then.

EDIT3 Oh frigging piss balls I have to get certified proof of citizenship meaning getting a scan of my passport signed by a JP. FRIGGING HELL. That is Not Fun. I'm going to bed.

YES, A BID, FINALLY. I knew somebody'd want the damn thing. Doubt if it'll go much higher, but at least it's going to sell.

I've picked up a few curtain samples, might have one or two that'd work but we'll see what else is out there. They closed at 5 and I rocked up at 5 to, so I certainly didn't get to look at everything.

Saturday I'll go look at more lights at other places. Looking at lights on the internet really doesn't work cos they all look boring unless they're photos taken in a room. If I can get it under a grand for the lights I'll be happier but I'm dubious =/

Adulting means getting excited about forecast sunny weekends in winter because it means you can do the washing. AWW YEAH.

I got a text from Super A-Mart telling me my bookcase is ready to pick up so I'll do that on the weekend, then next to get sorted is lighting and I might as well do the curtains at the same time. I got a voucher from my local council welcoming me to the area, which gives me free installation, so that's cool.

AND DECORATIONS. I can put useless pretty things all over my bedroom now :D

Oh also, my old wardrobes? Definitely constructed in the room. There was literally no way of manoeuvring them out of there. Sadly, they had to be broken into many pieces. It was almost as much fun as ripping the big fugly one out of the studio. I had the bid for $70 on ebay, which had been taken up to $81 when I went back to cancel the sale after demolition, but the only way those wardrobes were coming out of that room was in pieces, so. Oh well. It was fun 8D

I'm in a getting things done mood.

  • Tidy the goddamn desk for god's sake, 'narti.
  • Strain the soup.
  • Finish the washing up.
  • Turn on electric blanket.
  • Tidy the living/dining room if it needs it. I don't THINK so but let's add it to the list anyway.
  • Transfer Tsyllaes sand to glass bottles.
  • Stick that thing about hard rubbish collection in the bag in order to book it tomorrow.
  • On that note, see about the shed and if there's anything to tidy in there.
  • Also the dowel for that guy who bought the bed and is missing a dowel.
  • And the return to sender envelopes.
  • Bins.

  • My bedside table is so not going to sell. It's been on ebay for two weeks for $4 and hasn't got a bid with 26 minutes to go. It's 100% hard rubbish. Hopefully I can book the pickup for Monday, then I can haul all the crap onto the curb on Sunday and park my car in my garage. Wow.

I Forgot To Go To The Supermarket On The Way Home And Now I'm In My PJs: A tragedy in three parts.

My furniture is selling, though! Bed, chest of drawers and bedside table A have bids. Desk, wardrobe, dresser and bedside table B have people watching and people have asked things about them (...all of which are answered in the description but whatever) so I'm hopeful! My bedroom actually has a high chance of being empty when the wardrobe people come. I'll definitely be on a mattress on the floor this weekend. Oh well. Selling things yaaaaaay.

The delivery address is a Kwik Kopy in Sydney. I am amused. I feel I should send it in a Worldwide box just for the lols.
