Thoughts from today's Belair walk:
o Houses are too expensive. I should just buy a vacant block and pitch a tent on it.
o Yan needs to come out and do something. You can only hide in the shadows for so long before people start poking at the shadows.
o I'm going to systematically go through my 5 nights a week cookbook over the course of the year and it will be awesome.
o Plan for tomorrow: watch cricket, go shopping in the lunch break, watch more cricket, book a haircut, walk to Belair again, up to Mum's and Dad's for dinner and also more cricket. Also, write while the cricket's on. This led to the Yan thinkings. Most of the walk was Yan-related.
Didn't go for a walk yesterday because it was still 33 at 10pm so I decided bugger that and turned the aircon on instead. Today there was a cool change so it was only 28 at 7:30, so that was nice. Still 37 tomorrow, tho, so we'll see if the walk actually happens. I WILL TRY TO.
Writing is going well! 1500 yesterday and 1250 today, so that's a good start to that resolution.
I haven't done anything portfolio-related yet, and with regard to houses I've discovered through a very brief search that my initial price range can either get me a unit in the CBD or a house in freaking Aldinga. I feel both of these are a step backwards from where I am now. This sucks monkey balls.

o I want to do NaNoWriMo, but I lack a) story and b) time. So that sort of cancels that out.
o 9:30 is a crap time for Good News Week to start. The thing before it is one of those ones that goes 15 minutes overtime, and GNW itself tends to go about half an hour overtime. I'm~ not going to be going to bed until quarter past 11. I'm so skipping it from now on and downloading it on Tuesdays. Sucked in, Channel 10, I'm not watching your ads anymore.
o Started on Kazin girl! The forest idea scares me. I'm going to turn half of it into padi fields.
o I have an urge to make Yoshi layouts again. I've kinda had Malaysia for well over a year now >>

Man I am earning so much money lately :D Perfect timing for it, too; just paid for tpyo the other day, bloogum's coming up either tomorrow or Tuesday, Gold Coast weekend after next (!!!!!) so yes. Moneys are looking gooooood :D
Also, nice little surprise when I got home from work, a package from the Shanra =DD Thank you muchly, hun! Mmmmm reading material <3!
I love reading Stephen Fry's things re the Ashes. He keeps saying things along the lines of "Oh god what if we stuff it from here D:" Oh, Fry. You almost give me hope =( In years gone by I'd still be confident, but we've lost preeeetty much our entire team. Not the Australia we once were. Hence, we be screwed =(
BRING ON SEPTEMBER. Mmm, finals footy for the fifth year running. Maybe we'll make it past the prelims this time :DD

Anna P and I went to the Show yesterday =D Fun times had by all =D Started out with the rides~ which involved the same one three times \m/ Cos we're awesome like that. Traditional baked spud for lunch while watching the woodchopping, which is ALWAYS won by the chunkiest bloke there, or a Taswegian. Usually a chunky Taswegian.
Wandered around getting free samples of various farm produce things, bit of wine tasting, mettwurst, cheeeeese only there was no camembert that we could spot this time =( Yoghurt with fruit, various stuff like that. Nummy. Wanted to pat the cats, but the ones being judged yesterday were all BALD and creepy. I don't get bald cats. They look like scary big rats.
Showbags~ I got the Bertie Beetle as per tradition, as well as two little Cadbury ones for $7, so yay, chocolate. Just realised I shoulda gotten a Bertie Beetle for Mum, too, since that's her tradition as well. Must do when I go next week with Alex *nods*
And I bought a cactus. Cos. I could. THE RAYKINIANS MADE ME DO IT I SWEAR.
And now some dot points, cos they really don't need more than that:
o Bugga footy. Bring on the cricket!
o I want a TARDIS so I can go back to last week and SHOOT St Kilda. Or at least their leading goal kicker. 94 points they needed to win by to bump us from 4th to 5th on the ladder, and they beat bloody Essendon by 100-odd. BASTARDS. Means that since we lost today to freaking Collingwood, we're out of the finals ><
o Pub tonight with Anna P~ =D
o K8 is in Japan, which I only just remembered AFTER writing that last entry. I rule like that, yasee.
o On the plus side! I know I won't be missing a Crows Grand Final at Manifest end of the month =D

h_bee is finally getting updated! With half-hour landscape scribbles, but still! Art block is cracking!
o Fire Imps are fun, and yet there is already wank about them in Pre. People are weird.

o Exercised my democratic responsibility and voted again today. By-election to replace Alexander Downer. I've voted three times in the past, what, year and a half? When were the state ones again? I dunno. Seems a lot, anyway.
o Cocktail hour~! *skips off*

o Adelaide looks gorgeous today <3 Sea was SO bright blue driving down the hill to uni this morning. Spring is coming~
o My tablet is completely disoriented on this stupid uni computer. Computer thinks it's an Intuos and now it's trying to orient itself like a mouse =/ And the scroll is broken. Arg.
o I love my iPod.
o My watch battery ran flat at 3:12 this morning =( And there's nowhere at uni that I can replace it =(
o Stuff.
o In a related note, kissing is weird >>
